Tasty Slow Cooker Salisbury Steak Meatballs

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs ground beef

  • 1 cup breadcrumbs

  • 1 large egg

  • 1 onion, finely chopped

  • 2 cups sliced mushrooms

  • 2 cups beef broth

  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

  • 2 tbsp cornstarch (mixed with 2 tbsp water)

  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Mix ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, onion, salt, pepper, and Worcestershire sauce. Shape into meatballs.

  • (Optional) Brown meatballs in a skillet for added flavor.

  • Place mushrooms and onions in slow cooker. Add meatballs on top.

  • Pour beef broth mixture over. Cover and cook on Low 6–7 hours or High 3–4 hours.

  • Stir gently and serve hot over mashed potatoes, rice, or noodles.

Notes

  • Browning meatballs adds richness but can be skipped.

  • Add cream for a thicker, richer gravy.

  • Great for freezing and meal prep.
