Crispy Mashed Potato Cheese Puffs: Golden, Cheesy, and Irresistible

  • 1 cup shredded cheese

  • 1 beaten egg

  • ¼ tsp pepper

  • ½ cup flour

  • 1 cup breadcrumbs

  • Optional: herbs, paprika, bacon, or extra cheese cubes

Instructions

  • Mix mashed potatoes, cheese, egg, salt, and pepper.

  • Form tablespoon-sized balls, optionally adding cheese inside.

  • Roll in flour, dip in egg, coat with breadcrumbs.

  • Bake at 400°F for 15-20 min or fry in 350°F oil for 3-4 min.

  • Cool slightly and serve with dipping sauce.
