Cajun Steak Tips in Cheesy Rigatoni Parmesan Sauce

Instructions

  • 1 lb steak tips (sirloin or flank)

  • 2 tbsp Cajun seasoning

  • 1 lb rigatoni pasta

  • 1 ½ cups heavy cream

  • 1 cup freshly grated parmesan

  • 1 small onion, diced

  • 3 garlic cloves, minced

  • 2 tbsp butter

  • 2 tbsp olive oil

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • Fresh parsley, for garnish

Notes

  • Cook rigatoni until al dente; reserve 1 cup pasta water.

  • Toss steak tips with Cajun seasoning. Sear in olive oil, 2–3 minutes per side. Remove.

  • In the same skillet, sauté onion and garlic in butter.

  • Add cream and simmer. Stir in parmesan until smooth.

  • Toss pasta in sauce, adding pasta water if needed.

  • Return steak tips, mix, and serve hot with parsley.
