1 lb steak tips (sirloin or flank)
2 tbsp Cajun seasoning
1 lb rigatoni pasta
1 ½ cups heavy cream
1 cup freshly grated parmesan
1 small onion, diced
3 garlic cloves, minced
2 tbsp butter
2 tbsp olive oil
Salt and pepper to taste
Fresh parsley, for garnish
Cook rigatoni until al dente; reserve 1 cup pasta water.
Toss steak tips with Cajun seasoning. Sear in olive oil, 2–3 minutes per side. Remove.
In the same skillet, sauté onion and garlic in butter.
Add cream and simmer. Stir in parmesan until smooth.
Toss pasta in sauce, adding pasta water if needed.
Return steak tips, mix, and serve hot with parsley.
